All types of cosmetic dentistry are undertaken at Castle Rise, to help you make the most of your natural smile and smile with confidence

In the past, fillings have been made out of a silver coloured material called amalgam. At Castle Rise, our first choice would be to use a tooth-coloured material (either ceramic or plastic).
This popular form of treatment to transform dark or discoloured teeth can provide that film star smile! This can be carried out safely in an easy and inexpensive way.
A simple impression is taken of your teeth to provide a customised "at home kit".
The bleaching agents are safe but will only work on natural tooth structure, those with white fillings, veneers or crowns at the front of their mouth may need to replace these after completion of bleaching to match their new white smile.
There can sometimes be a temporary increase in tooth sensitivity whilst using the bleaching agents. This is only a short term side effect and can soon be reduced with a fluoride toothpaste for sensitive teeth.
Price: £275 (2 Arches)
If a tooth becomes broken down and it is not possible to build it up again using a filling it would be best to restore the tooth using a crown. This will dramatically improve the appearance of your natural smile.
A crown is an artificial tooth that is fitted over the remaining natural tooth. Teeth that are discoloured or out of position can be improved by crowning.
A bridge is used to cover gaps within the mouth where there should be teeth. The adjoining teeth are prepared so that when the bridge is fitted, the gap is filled with a natural looking tooth, held in place by the teeth either side.
A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain that fits over the front surface of the tooth. It can improve the position, shape, and colour, close small gaps or help with a tooth that is slightly out of position by bringing it into line with the other teeth.
A veneer will look natural and healthy and, as they are very thin and are held in place with a special strong bond, very little preparation is needed.
