Mick Mason
Qualifying as a dentist from Bristol University and moving to Cornwall in 1974, Mick has become a partner and eventually owner of Castle Rise.

Lena Olund
Having trained as a dentist in Bergen, Norway in 1982, Lena joined Castle Rise approximately twenty years later, where she enjoys working with all the staff and treating a lot of lovely patients.

Paul Young
Born in Sydney, Australia, Paul has family in Australia, Canada and Hong Kong. He has worked 25 years as a dentist and loves the British sense of humour. Paul is happy to be part of a great team at Castle Rise.

Nicholas Rush
Nick joined the team at Castle Rise in 2008 - the first qualified Clinical Dental Technician working in Cornwall. In 2000 Nick became one of the first Clinical Dental Technicians in the UK to be awarded the Royal College of Surgeons (eng) Diploma.

Esther Spiers
Esther joined the practice in 1990. Having worked as a dental nurse in Liskeard she was able to bring her knowledge and friendly manner to reception. An opportunity arose in 1996 for her current role as Practice Manager.
Pamela Hancock
After teacher training and a spell in the Navy, Pam qualified as a Hygienist in 1979. She moved to Castle Rise in 1982 where she has worked since, occasionally doing short stints of locum work throughout the area.

Susan Strike
Sue qualified as a hygienist at the Royal Dental Hospital in London. She joined Castle Rise in 1990 working 2 days a week, with 2 days also in Barnstaple. Sue has extra qualifications in filtration and dental block anaesthesia.

Samantha Peacock
Sam joined the practice in November 1998, and has since gained her nursing and Oral Health Education qualifications. She looks forward to qualifying in Radiography next.

Sarah Parker
Sarah started here way back when, as a nurse. She left to pursue another career but later qualified as a Hygienist and has worked with us for several years between the births of her two children. She now works on a Monday and covers holidays for Pam and Sue when she can.

Suzanne Newberry
Suzy joined the practice in 1996 as a full time nurse. She qualified in 1998 and went on to qualify as a radiographer in 2002. She then took a full time position as a member of our reception staff. Suzy left to have her son in 2005 and has since returned as a part time nurse.

Joanna Jones
Jo has been working at Castle Rise for a few years now and has gained her qualifications whilst working. She really enjoys all aspects of her job and the company and support of her colleagues.

Kayleigh Murphy
Kayleigh joined the team here at Castle Rise in June 2006. She's since qualified as a Dental Nurse and is enjoying being back at work after returning from Maternity Leave.

Ceri Busby
Ceri has been a dental nurse since 1999 and qualified in 2001. She joined Castle Rise in August 2007 bringing with her a wealth of experience and knowledge. She enjoys working with her new colleagues.

Rosalyn Thorne
Roz qualified as a Dental Surgery Assistant in November 1997 and passed the Dental Radiography exam in 2001. Before her recent appointment at Castle Rise she worked as a dental assistant for a specialist orthodontist and oral surgeon.

Debbie Kneebone
Debbie joined the practice in 1984 as a receptionist. She has seen many changes over the years. When her family came along, time out was taken until she returned initially to cover holiday and sickness in 1995.
Tracy Baker
Tracy joined Castle Rise in 1998. During her time here she has gained her nursing qualification along with her radiography qualification. She now works as both a nurse and receptionist when required.

Nicola Brewer
Nicola joined us as a trainee dental nurse she changed jobs and completed her qualification. She returned in 2009 to cover maternity leave and now has a permanent role as a part-time nurse.
